Yu-Gi-Oh! 1st Edition Elemental Energy Booster Box

This elemental energy booster box is a factory-sealed 1st Edition display of Elemental Energy, set code EEN. Konami released the set in English on November 16, 2005, as the sixth Core Booster of Series 4 — the GX era — directly after Cybernetic Revolution. The box follows the standard hobby configuration of 24 packs, and each pack then holds 9 cards. Elemental HERO support runs through the set, so its cover card needs no introduction to GX collectors.

The chases in an elemental energy booster box

Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman (EEN-EN036) fronts the set as the Ultra Rare cover card, and it is also the single most valuable card in the set. Pot of Avarice, a Super Rare, chases close behind it. Elemental HERO Tempest, Elemental HERO Wildedge, and Elemental HERO Steam Healer extend the HERO line-up. VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon and VW-Tiger Catapult cover the Machine side, meanwhile, with Divine Knight Ishzark and Level Limit – Area A behind them. YGOPRODeck’s set archive lists the full EEN-EN pool for pull planning.

The set that introduced Dark World

The set holds 60 cards, or 85 in the Master Set: 35 Common, 14 Rare, 7 Super Rare, and 4 Ultra Rare. Twenty-five cards also appear as Ultimate Rare parallels, and no Secret Rares exist in this set. Elemental Energy’s lasting debut is the Dark World archetype, which arrived here first and then grew into a long-running fan favourite. Because this box comes from the 1st Edition era of Series 4, its cards carry the 1st Edition print rather than the later Unlimited run. Browse our sealed products for more GX-era sealed displays.
