Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box

The ascended heroes trainer box is the standard Elite Trainer Box for Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes. Ascended Heroes is a special expansion, set ME2.5. The expansion launched on January 30, 2026, and this ETB followed on February 20. Because the set has no booster box, this ETB carries real weight with collectors.

Inside the ascended heroes trainer box

You get 9 Ascended Heroes booster packs and a full-art foil promo featuring N’s Zekrom. The box also holds 65 sleeves and 40 Energy cards. A player’s guide, 6 damage-counter dice, and a coin-flip die round out the play kit. A plastic coin, a collector’s box with 6 dividers, and a TCG Live code card complete the contents. Pokémon’s official TCG page shows the wider Ascended Heroes lineup.

The pack route for a boxless set

Collectors hunt the ascended heroes trainer box because Ascended Heroes packs never sold in a booster box. The set holds 295 cards, the largest English expansion at its release. Mega Dragonite ex leads the chase list, and Trainer’s Pokémon return alongside Stellar Tera Pokémon ex. So every sealed ETB doubles as a small pack bank. The staggered release also shapes demand. The expansion arrived first, on January 30, 2026. This box followed three weeks later, in the second wave. Early buyers therefore chased packs from tins and collections first. The ETB then gave them a bigger pack bundle in one box. That timing keeps sealed ETBs on want lists long after launch.
